Designed from the ground up, it aims to deliver the playing experience of an acoustic drum set, while offering the versatility and editability of a vast drum library. At the heart of the Strata Prime is a state-of-the-art module that houses the complete BFD3 sound engine and all-new trigger processing. This module boasts 75 fast-loading kits, with ample space for users to create and load their own custom kits.

The 10.1-inch touch screen allows for comprehensive editing of every parameter, providing access to over 1000 articulations, extensive effects processing, and much more. This level of control ensures extraordinary new levels of playability for electronic drums. The Strata Prime features all-mesh drum heads with adjustable tension, and the 360-degree cymbals are free to move and respond like acoustic cymbals. The brand-new Active Magnetic hi-hat controller is laser-accurate and plays naturally with any hi-hat stand or playing technique.

Powering the Strata Prime Drum Module is a powerful multi-core processor that loads huge multi-sampled kits in seconds, enabling instant creative freedom to customize kits, articulations, microphones, and effects. The state-of-the-art sound engine provides access to a vast and detailed library of beautifully recorded drum sets.

The Strata Prime is a 10-piece kit with dual-zone all-mesh heads, Active Magnetic hi-hat technology, and a state-of-the-art touchscreen drum module running the BFD sound engine. It offers a no-compromise acoustic drum configuration, including a 20-inch kick drum (double bass compatible), a dual-zone 14-inch snare, 8-inch, 10-inch, 12-inch, and 14-inch toms, and 360-degree cymbals (2x 16-inch crashes and an 18-inch ride).

The Prime module is technologically unsurpassed, driven by the legendary BFD drum engine and controlled by an intuitive 10.1-inch touch screen interface. Users can create their own kits, with access to over 40GB of content, including 75 kits, 440+ kit pieces, 1000+ articulations, and multiple individual samples that can be processed with various effects for a true acoustic drum sound.

The 360-degree ARC cymbals feature a triple-zoned 18-inch ride and two 16-inch crashes with a responsive 360-degree playing surface, natural sway, dual-edge sensor, and acoustic-arms compatibility. The Active Magnetic hi-hat design offers unmatched accuracy in capturing various hi-hat playing techniques, with a triple-zone 360-degree playing surface actively powered by the Prime Drum Module.

The Strata Prime comes with four sound libraries: Alesis Prime Acoustic, BFD Dark Farm, Alesis Prime Electronic, and BFD Percussion, all of which feature new, multi-layered factory content to complement the 75 factory kits.
